This is a visit to the WW1 battlefields of Belgium and Northern France by students and staff of Walker Technology College.

We aim to see and learn about the realities of trench warfare to check against the writing of famous poets and historical records. We might try out some of our French and we aim to record our feelings on video and podcast.

There is a chance to see some wonderful sites along the way in Bruges, have fun at Bellewaerde theme park, sample Belgian chocolate along with Belgian hospitality. Hope the North Sea is kind to us on the crossing beteen Hull and Zeebrugge!
