After 35 years in the dream stage, we are really taking our next "big" trip. Alice's bosses are scratching their heads wondering how she managed to get a whole month off. We start with 3 days in Sydney, fly to the South Island of New Zealand for 3 weeks, then to Brisbane to visit friends north of there and back to Honolulu. Two of the weeks on the South Island will be in a caravan for two. We plan to ring bells in Christchurch and Dunedin, eat lots of lamb and enjoy the down under vintages. We plan to keep a detailed log and post lots of pictures. This blog site seems almost too good to be true. Special thanks to our kids, Elizabeth for taking care of the house and animals, and Doug for keeping the business on track for a month.
