About this blog

A childhood dream brought me to the day I left for WFFT. I had always loved animals immensely and they had always evoked an emotion I had never felt with any other being. I felt there needed to be more people in the world willing to protect them from the unthinkable. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to spend my days with elephants. I didn't know how much the experience would change me and allow me to love in a capacity I never knew I could. Different from the love of any human. I found an undescribeable love in the lazy days, the baths, the feeding times, the quiet times, and everything in between. To truly and fully care for another is a monumental thing.
