Here we go again.......this year's road trip is to Florida!! We'll stop and explore 12 states along the way. Can't wait 'til Thursday......we leave for Tucson!! Our first leg out is a long one, but then we'll take it slow for awhile. We're taking 10 days to drive to Florida, stopping in many cities, including San Antonio and New Orleans. Then, we'll witness history in Biloxi, Mississippi as we look out into the Gulf of Mexico from our oceanview room (and yes, the room was really cheap because of the spill....only 3000 points for a $200 room). The kids plan to collect oil from the beautiful sandy beaches :( We arrive in Florida on the 10th....Disneyworld, here we come!! Four nights in orlando, then on to Key Largo and later St. Augustine. Then we'll head up through Georgia and stay in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, pretty....this is on the Atlantic, no oil here! Then up to the I40 and North Carolina where we'll drive through the Great Smoky Mountains and Tennessee. We'll see Arkansas and Oklahoma City.....then the long stretch home through New Mexico and of course we can't miss the Grand Canyon. See ya on the 28th!!
