Trussell Trust 2011 Christmas Box Distribution Trip
About this blog
Every year The Trussell Trust takes thousands of Christmas shoe boxes to Bulgaria. A team of people from Bulgaria and the UK spend a couple of weeks each December distributing these presents, all donations from UK supporters, amongst some of the very poorest people in Europe.
Through this blog we hope to show you how and where we distribute your donated box of goodies. We will be visiting orphanages, Roma communities, women's refuges, prisons, refugee centres and no doubt one or two other places as well.
Each day we'll be posting pictures or video of the places we've visited and share with you something of our experience.
Daily posts won't start until the 5th Dec but there might be odd entry between now and then as we receive, sort and pack the shoeboxes here in Salisbury and prepare for a very busy distribution trip.
If you want to support us but can't get a shoebox to us just go to www.justgiving.com/2011-Bulgaria-Christmas-Box-Appeal and make a donation.

Thank you.
