Italy & Greece 2010

About this blog

It's October 2010, and for two weeks. I'm heading to Europe. Joining me will be my good friends, Erin, her hubby, Tad, and his brother, Jay. We've rented a private villa in Florence, near the Ponte Vecchio bridge, for a week. From there, we're going to venture all over Tuscany.

After our week in Italy, unfortunately, Jay will have to leave us. Erin, Tad and I will then head to Greece via Rome for our second week. After visiting Athens, we'll head to Crete and then onto Santorini before heading home again.

We plan to keep this blog as up to date as possible with entries and photos, so check back often! ~ Ciao!

Wed 10/06 ...Flight from Paris to Florence ...6 days / 6 nights in Florence and Tuscany

Tues 10/12 ...Train from Florence to Rome ...1 day / 1 night in Rome

Wed 10/13 ...Flight from Rome to Athens ...2 days / 2 nights in Athens

Fri 10/15 ...Flight from Athens to Crete ...2 days / 2 nights in Crete

Sun 10/17 ...Boat from Crete to Santorini ...2 days / 2 nights in Santorini

Tues 10/19 ...Flight from Santorini to Athens ...1 day / 1 night in Athens

Wed 10/20 ...Flight from Athens to London to Chicago to Kansas City ...home again!

** Slight change in plans for me. Due to some circumstances that need to be attended to here at home, I won't be leaving until Thurs 10/07. I'll be flying to Chicago, onto Frankfurt, and into Florence to join the others on the morning of Fri 10/08.
