I went to Work today at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY Whooppee!!

I went to work today. Everything was going fine when I got a call from School nurse who informed me that Katrina was ill & I had to take her home. I left work, waited quite a long time for a shuttle to my van, then drove from Cooperstown to Herkimer Boces where my 17 yr old Katrina is in the Cullinary program. I took her home to Richfield Springs, mothered her for awhile and got her settled down drinking Ginger Ale & watching Beauty & the Beast & then went back to work. When I arrived back to work, there was a surprise of cake & gifts from my co-workers. My birthday is on Saturday but today is the only day this week that we are all there together so they decided to surprise me. I have the best friends. More news soon
