About the Trip
The Irupu Falls is located in the Brahmagiri Range, in Kodagu district of Karnataka, India, bordering the Wayanad district of Kerala.
40 members of Facebook will get together to explore life, travel and fun. A resort at Irupu is offering Stay, Trekking, River Rafting, Jungle Safari, Rock Climbing, Water Sports, Caving, Angling, Food, Rave and lots more for Travel and Fun Club...Members of the Club can enjoy these benefits at unbelievable cost due to Travel and Fun Club working towards development of the family always. Things to Carry:
- 2 Personal Identification (Must) - Personal medication (if any) - Luggage, Freshnup Products, One strong backpack, Additional Clothes (if any) - Water bottles (enough to carry at least 2 liters of water) - Energy Food (Chocolate bars, flavored milk, Electrolyte drinks - Glucon-D, etc). - Small torch with new batteries, Cell Phone with Charger and two batteries. - Raincoats, Jackets, Umbrellas (just in case) - Camera, Video Camera, Laptop, extra memory cards (if any) - For Shopping - Carry Bank Cards or Cash as Cheques are not accepted anywhere.
Things Not to Carry:
- Gold, Silver or any precious metals. - Valuable Documents. - Valuable products to be avoided.
Tentative Schedule:
Monday: 1st August 2011 ---- Members of Face Book will arrive at Bangalore - Travel and Fun Club ---31 South Park Hotel (Dinner, Stay, Freshnup, Introduction, Info and Relax).
Tuesday: 2nd August 2011 ---- Journey Starts
06:00AM - Via Nice Road Bangalore. 06:30AM - Mysore Road Connect to Mysore City 08:40AM - The Famous > Kamath Hotel, Chennapatana Stop 10:00AM - Srinrangapatana Town > Tippu Sultan Fort, Nimishamba Temple, Sriranganatha Temple, Kaveri River, Birds Sanctuary, KRS Dam and Brindavan Garden. 02:00PM - Lunch at Desi Style Hotel - A famous Hotel located on Mysore - Hunsur Road. 04:00PM - Golden Temple of Buddhist Monks inaugurated by Dalai Lama in the past. 05:00PM - Enter the Main Gate of Nagarhole - Rajiv Gandhi National Park (Forest, Wild Life, Fresh Air, Life) 07:00PM - Via Kutta Town to Irrupu Falls a Pleasant Resort with all facilities for 2 days and 3 Nights stay. 09:00PM - Fire Camp, Introduction of the place, Chat, Dinner, Team Shoot, Activities, Music and Fun.
Wednesday: 3rd August 2011 ---- Reach Base and Start trekking up via Iruppu Falls, Wild Life watch, Jungle Safari, Rock Climbing, Water Sports, Caving, Team Building activities and Spend the night on the Peak with Dinner at Tent House. River Rafting will be optional for people at there own risk.
Thursday: 4th August 2011 ---- Trek down after watching the sunrise, Reach base Resort relax for another trip at 3 pm towards the farm fields and jungle fun with lot of games ending with a dance party at the resort.
Friday: 5th August 2011 ---- Start back to Bangalore and have breakfast and Lunch on the way while we watch another wild safari (national park) followed by another Temple of Buddha located on the other side of Iruppu Falls.
Participation Fees: Rs. 5000.00
Above charges include: Non AC Transport, Food will be updated on FACEBOOK as per request, Event Coordinator, Permission, Sleeping bags, First Aid kit, Rest house, Tent House and any other necessary products which is necessary for time to time.
Note: 1. Drop points will be the same as pick-up points. 2. Any person over 60 years not healthy to travel by own, pregnant women or Casualty person will find the journey difficult to trek or travel further. Please take care of your health. 3.
