Next Great Adventure - on to Maui for a Snuba Adventure!

This is a continuation of our Hawaii Adventure - we have moved on to Maui. We decided to try something new, Snuba for Maui. This is a combination of snorkeling and scuba but instead of having scuba take on your back, the takes are floating above you and your oxygen is attached and a tube is connected to your snorkel mask. You are free to move about and enjoy the underwater life that you couldn't when you are just floating on the top of the water using a snorkel and mask.
Once you have been, it is easy to understand why Molokini snorkeling has become the number 1 snorkeling destination in the Hawaiian Islands. Molokini offers exceptionally clear water with visibility reliably in excess of 150 feet. Molokini snorkeling is truly a unique experience, as there are only 3 volcanic calderas including Molokini in the entire world. This was an incredible adventure as well, the waters were crystal blue just like "Blue Hawaii" as Elvis told us about in the movies! The fish were colorful, blue, yellow, and the area was beautiful as well. We went to Molokini and Turtle Cove and we saw everything. Giant green turtles and more.
