El Condor Pasa
About this blog
What was meant to be a month long trip, has turned into a way of life. I had set out to drive with my only companion being my pitbull, Brody, from Vancouver, BC to Mexico and once I arrived in Mexico City, I found myself renting an apartment and looking for work.
Since my first visit to Mexico City when I was 18 years old, I fell in love with it - the chaos, the culture, the people, the language, the sounds. It only seemed fitting to stick around a while and see what could happen once I ended up here again 2 years later. I don't know when I'm going back - the whole word is out there waiting and I've only seen an incredible 4% of it, but for now, this is where I'm meant to be.
ps - I have named this trip "El Condor Pasa" (loosely translates to "The condor [a type of vulture] flies by) after one of my favorite Simon and Garfunkel songs - it just seems appropriate.
