Egypt is one of these "great civilization countries" where one journey is not enough to get a taste of all different aspects of life,and so I decided to visit the country a second time. My itinerary was Cairo-Assuan-Abu Simbel-Lake Nasser-Sinai Peninsula with St. Katherine's monastery-Alexandria-Abu Mena-Sakkara. Inbetween I went for a week to neighbouring Sudan. It was a great trip, and I promised myself to visit Egypt for a third time.
