From September 2007, I spent over a year in South America. Taking things to the extreme, I travelled from Lima down Chile, into northwest Argentina, Bolivia, crossing most of the Amazon, crossing Venezuela from south to north and east to west and the Colombian Caribbean - travelling by bus, hitch hiking, by boats, ferries and plane. Here is my story.
