Yeah, I know it's kinda romantic and silly, but I've always dreamed of being an explorer...walking where no man has walked before. So when I got an invite to a climbing expedition in the (mostly) previously unexplored Kingata Shan range in NW China I knew I had to go. I'll be spending three weeks in the Kingata Shan range, and about three weeks on both sides of the climbing trip to travel along the ancient Silk Road to soak up some Chinese, Uighur and Kazakh culture.
