Patagonian Pilgrimage
About this blog
For years I have had my sights set on venturing down to Patagonia to do some climbing. The place is a bit of a pilgrimage for climbers...ever since Yvon Chuoinard took his epic road trip down here, the place has become a mecca for alpine climbers around the work. With so many of my climbing buddies having spent time there, climbing in magnificant settings on stellar rock, I felt I had to go too. This winter I had some time off from work, so instead of heading somewhere obscure like Nagorno-Karabakh, I headed down south...way down south to Patagonia to spend some time climbing and rambling around the mountains. I only had 5 weeks, and in poor climbing shape, but I gave it a go anyways!
