Welcome to the story of our blast up the Andes in a 4WD Toyota Hilux Twin Cab in the Sud Americana Rally - hopefully, the blast of a lifetime!It all started some 12 months ago when I received an unexpected call from my friend Rob - "fancy a blast up the Andes next year?". Of course, this was most appealing, but I felt this may be outside my budget - "just look at the twerally.co.uk website, and remember their are only 4 Toyotas left on the "rent a rally drive" deal.I did - and was hooked immediately -rang him back within the hour and said "count me in" - then went home and told "mi espousa" that I would be AWOL next year for about a month!Why did he ask me to go - "your the only guy I know crazy enough to do this!!"
