Shanghai bound with Mom and Dad
About this blog
Taking my parents on the road to Hangzhou and Shanghai turned out to be a real eye-opener in many ways. It was the first trip I could remember, where I was genuinely concerned about my parent's abilities to comfortably travel and cope with the demands of being on the road. The uncertainty was amplified by my own general lack of knowledge on the conditions, service infrastructure, and supports available for elderly travel in China. However, Dad wanted to go, so off we went.
