Welcome to my trans-siberian railroad blog! On June 24th, I arrive in St. Petersburg Russia to begin this amazing journey. I am meeting my fellow travelers - cousin Jen, Jaime and Ann. They are in the final month of a 6 month travel adventure taking them from SE Asia, across India, the Mediterranean, the Balkans and Eastern Europe. We will be joining a backpackers tour, appropriately titled "The Vodka Train." Our itinerary is roughly as follows: 3 days in St. Petersburg 5 days in Moscow 3 days on the train into Siberia 2 days at Lake Baikal, Siberia 2 days in Mongolia 2 weeks in Beijing
