It had been 3 months since my last "external" trip outside of France. During that time period I had been stuck in France due to "carte sejour" or green card issues but in February I was finally able to travel legally outside of France. Italy was a country that I had always wanted to travel to, even as a child, and I was determined to not leave Europe without seeing it (to be truthful, Italy was my main reason for coming to Europe, not France). But I finally got my chance and boy was it one. By far, Italy has been the most memorable and greatest trip that I have taken up to this point (even though I have enjoyed immensely all the trips that I have taken).
