We are freeing our sailboat Hawkswood (and ourselves) from the oncoming siege of Old Man Winter here in Chicago and heading to the Gulf of Mexico where we will continue on to Florida and then to the Caribbean.

We will be cruising over 1,300 miles of rivers and canals along the inland river system portion of the famed "Great Loop," traveling along the Illinois, Mississippi, Ohio, Cumberland, Tennessee and Black Warrior Rivers.
