"The answers to all of lives questions will be found at the bottom of your backpack." Makes for a nice fortune cookie, but probably not sane advice. The most likely items to be found in the bottom of my backpack after a year of travel are dirty socks, yet off I go with my backpack (and clean socks), hoping to acquire a few answers.The search begins in Vietnam, and at the current time includes stops in Cambodia, Thailand, Nepal, India, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, Itlay and Spain.

Think of this travelogue as a way to spare you the boredom of having to sit through endless hours of travel stories upon my return.
