A trek in northwestern Malaysian Borneo with a couple of overly optimistic expeditions, with a hike up a huge mountain (very stupid idea) and jaunt into the wicked heat and humidity of what's left of the jungle (pretty stupid idea) but this set of misadventures still turned out to be a good learning experience - in that I will never climb a mountain or sleep in the jungle heat again!

Lots of orangutans, other animals, some stunning scenery and sunsets, very sore muscles and even a bit of significant WW2 POW history I never knew before - a very brutal war story.
