Dear friends,

In this new travelog I will talk about my experience as a volunteer worker in Santa Isabel. A poor neighbourhood outside of Quito. During 10 weeks, I was able to share the lives of about 30 kids (age 3-11), which came to the UBECI project after school. UBECI (Unión de Beneficios de Educación y Cooperación Internacional) is a very small and rather new organisation, which helps kids from poor to very poor families with their homework, teaches English and values and much more.
