Hello from tomorrow or as the locals say "Kia Ora"!

My brother Mike and I are heading off to New Zealand for 18 days of insanity. This will be my first time in the Southern Hemisphere. It's actually my first time outside of North America so needless to say I'm very excited. We plan to travel from Auckland to Christchurch by car in two weeks. Keep in mind that it is currently winter in New Zealand and the time difference means I'm actually blogging from the future (19 hours ahead). We would love to see your comments as we travel.
