Cruising the Med on the WindSurf
About this blog
We cruised the Mediterranean out of Nice, France on the WindSurf starting the day after the Grand Prix in Monte Carlo and the day after the film festival in Cannes ended. We went in a day early and rented a car and were in France, above Monte Carlo, during the Grand Prix. We only got a glimpse, but could hear the roar of the cars. We also went to Cannes and did some celebrity watching as they arrived at the closing ceremonies. We say Dustin Hoffman and Dennis Hopper. The cruise was great, the ports were: Monte Carlo, Marseille, Valencia, Palma and ended in Barcelona. We finished our vacation with two nights in the Spanish Parador in Cardona(11th Century Castle).
