In what started as a four month leave of absence to travel up to Alaska to visit my children, their mom, and my three grandchildren, has turned into a Backpacking trip to Europe. I have this tremendous hunger to see and meet the the real Europe. I have now extended my leave of absence indefinately; I quit my job! I have no idea how long or exactly where I will be going. I only know that I have a one way airline ticket to Frankfurt, Germany, departing Anchorage, Alaska on May 8th 2007.
