After a year away we spent most of the year catching up with friends and family - including some of our new friends that we had met while traveling. So we were left with only 5 days holiday........what to do and where to go with only such a short time? We decided on Egypt which offered so many big hits in one go......Sphinx, pyramids, Nile, Luxor, Karnack, Aswan, Abu Simbel, etc, etc......we can't think of another country with so many famous sights. Due to the short time we had we plumped for an organized tour so that the hassle and wasted time was taken out and the holiday....well, that was the plan anyway.
