Welcome! We're glad you're joining us on our 2009 Calcutta Children's Project trip to Kolkata,India, sponsored by the Marist Praxis Project for Public/Global Citizenship, & The Better World Beloved Community. This year's trip is shorter than our last in 2007. We will only be there for a week, but hope to accomplish a lot during that time period. Our team is smaller as well, there are only 4 of us - Mar, Alanna, Heather, & Tom. We don't have any cool documentary equipment this time either, but we do have lots of polaroid cameras and film,lol! Our purpose during this trip is to make even more personal connections with each of the families; confirm the way donations are spent; establish basic medical care; & observe Christopher at work.
