Welcome to our Italy 2006 travelogue. This is our first time in Italy and our first backpacking adventure. Our journey will start in Puglia (Italy's heel) and continue in a clockwise direction. In each entry we will edutain you with a review of a church, a ruin or a pizza parlor (if we can find any?). In addition to this we will provide stories of getting lost, sleeping in barns, and trying not to eat meat (we are vegetarians who don't speak Italian- "Sono Vegetariano"). Our intent is to use this travelogue to stay in touch with friends and family but we hope it is of value to all members of the Travelpod community.
