Dumaguete City: Universities
About this blog
Dumaguete is referred to as a university town because of the presence of seven universities and colleges. The most prominent university is Silliman University with students from surrounding provinces and cities in Visayas and Mindanao, including students from around the world.
Other popular universities are Foundation University (FU) and Negros Oriental State University (NORSU). I have taught as a clinical instructor in these two universities until October 2006.
