I've been visiting Ecuador for many years now, but until now I've explored just one region -- the area around Otavalo, in the Andes. As it turns out, this region is well-known for its shamans, and on this trip I intend to experience this aspect of the culture first-hand. I'm also planning a visit to the Amazon to become aquainted with the shamanic culture down there.

It turns out that the internet here is quite a bit slower than in Guatemala, so I may be limited as to the number of pictures I can upload. I also may not be able to make it to a computer as often, particularly while traveling to the Amazon. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy reading about these adventures!
