Hmmm lots of "coffee" shops in Amsterdam, but no coffee to be seen...

Amsterdam pretty interesting - usual big city with crowds and tourists with an extra sprinkling of stoners who have spent all day at the "coffee" shop. It's compact and easy to get around, although there are over 180 canals so easy to loose bearings from time to time.

Apparently over 12,000 bikes are pulled out canals in Amsterdam every year. Can see why from the pics, we couldn't believe the amount of bikes at the train station.

Looks like we wil be leaving Morgans place in the Hague tomorrow. Been good for Jarrad having a training partner - he got in around 640kms this week. HUGE. Some of the kms attributed to getting slightly lost they were out for around 6 hours yesterday...

Plan at this stage is to head to Belgium, through France or Germany and down to Switzerland. My cousin who is also in Europe sent me his itinerary, slightly more organised fitting in 22 countries during their trip.

Oh well we are armed with our trusty Tom Tom and shall see where things take us...
