Patagonian Dispatches
About this blog
Thanks to my understanding and open-minded bosses, I have two months off from work to trapse through South America. Accompanied by my fiancée, Monique - who has a few months free before starting her residency in internal medicine - our travels begin at the southernmost tip of South America in Tierra del Fuego.
The name "Patagonian Dispatches" is a bit of a misnomer. We plan to work our way north along the Andes until we reach the Bolivian border (more or less), and then take in a few days in Buenos Aires and Uruguay, before returning to the United States.
The purpose of this blog is two-fold. First, to update and inform friends and family about our travels. Second, to provide potentially useful information for others traveling or planning to travel to this part of the world.
