Long weekend away to sunny(?) Venice.

Given our imminent travel plans - we decided to visit Venice. Viv has never been to Venice or Italy at all and wanted to get a flavour of what it was all about. The Venetian experience in Las Vegas, we suspect, would not be too close on the reality of the real Venice! Boy, this place is expensive. Expensive to get here, expensive when here.
