About this blog

After a summer in the hot desert of Arabia (or Southwest Asia) we are now going to tackle a hot summer in the Southwest of the USA. While we have driving though the Southwest with quick drive-bys of the Grand Canyon and Petrified Forest, we have not just soaked in the true Southwest. Most of this trip will highlight the National Parks (America's Best Idea) with a few cities in-between like Tucson, Phoenix, Santa Fe, and Albuquerque. Activities will include some major hiking (including a rim to river to rim in the Grand Canyon), biking, and eating true SW cuisine. Our wheels will be our tried and true 2003 Dodge Ram dully diesel and the 03 Montana 5th wheel which has taken us to Alaska and back (read other blog). So enjoy our adventures (and mis-adventures) to the beautiful American Southwest. (note - we'll be in many places without internet access so the blog will be updated sporadically.
