About this blog

I love reading travel memoirs. One day I picked up Michael Crichton's "Travels" and the book greatly inspired me. What struck me most was Mt Kilimanjaro. Africa. Right there and then I decided, this is meant for me. I am going to climb Mt Kilimanjaro. I saved, researched, trained ... less than a year later, I'm off on the plane, on my way to fulfill one of my dreams .. to set foot on the snows of Kilimanjaro.
