Peg's "Fantastical" Cuba Experience

About this blog

I was born and raised in South Louisiana.....closer to Cuba than to most of the rest of the USA. As a child, Cuba was one of the three places at the top of my "places-I-had-to-go" list (along with Africa and Disneyland). Truly, since I was in fourth grade during the 1960's "duck and cover" bomb drills, I knew I wanted to go to Cuba; to Havana; to the Bay of Pigs. This Road Scholar learning adventure--Cuba Today: People and Society was the perfect way to make that dream come true and then some! What an eye-opening experience to go to all the places that so helped to shape MY history! I would love to share my experiences with you and encourage everyone to experience it for yourselves. What a Whoa/Wow 8 days! Viva, Jose; Viva Road Scholar!
