In my first year in Singapore, Yoong was working for the Hourglass Watch Company. Because of her proficiency in French she was sent to Switzerland as part of a team organising a deal with the watchmaker, Daniel Roth . While she was enjoying first class travel in Switzerland, I took my holiday in nearby Sumatra It was my first experience of travelling without Yoong.
