Well the Brisky road trip 2009 fell through from lack of interest, (poor rates/ recession) so rather than the Mille as planned swmbo and I decided to tour Europe and revisit Mt, ventoux (fogged in last year) the Grossglockner (lack of time last year) and one or two other prime stretches of tarmac as well as a few new routes that we had seen on our travels but not had the time to visit. As we are on our lonesome we are going topless in the MX-5 and hopefully the long driving days will be slightly easier not having to worry about convoys, people getting lost, not going too fast/ slow etc etc.
