COLOMBIA - On My Fifth Continent

Life is DELICIOUS - I am about to take another bite out of life and having a stamp of a country from the fifth continent on my passport. I am not taking a huge bite out of this continent, but rather...I am there for a taste.
My next destination isn't known for its gastronomy, but for its very talented Nobel Laureate writer, Gabriel García Márquez.. His writing is very intriguing ... often luring travelers to this corner of the world. This location is the setting in a few Hollywood movies, such as "The Mission", "Love in the Time of Cholera" and "Romancing the Stone"...making the temptation to go there even stronger...
Before going there, much research has been done and plan has been carefully laid out.
