About this blog

This is the tale of one boy's transition to adulthood. A story of love, hope, humility, excitement, danger, laughter and excitement. And you can read all about it my new book: "America for Amateurs".

But on a more serious note, this is the study holiday of my second semester of 3rd year university. The host university is Purdue University, Indiana.

The semester lasts from August 23rd 2010 - December 18th 2010. US study visas allow students 1 month either side of these academic dates to travel around the country and to settle in.

This is that story.
