For various reasons we didn't do the big overseas trip many years ago. It was going to happen (the tickets were actually bought) but other events took precedence - careers, family, mortgages & a few grey hairs - just to name a few. Now, a few decades later - (during which time we have enjoyed many shorter trips both within Oz and overseas) - we are ready to embark on the e-x-t-e-n-d-e-d one!

Seven months around Europe - wherever the mood takes us!

Departure date rapidly approaching. Obviously still in the planning stages - but surely that is half the fun!

We will leave for Frankfurt and travel around Germany. Christmas in the German ski resort of Garmisch (what are the odds of a White Christmas!). Then NYE will be in Innsbruck Austria. These are the only places we have locked in.

After that who knows where?
