Galle, Sri Lanka, preparation trip for "Oasis of Silence" exhibition.

This trip is noteworthy! I live in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and going to Galle, along the West coast towards the South, is actually not a big deal. However, this time I did not drive myself, but was chauffeured by a driver in Sanjiva's car. He is managing the hotels at Jetwing, and had offered to host Beat Presser's photo exhibition "Oasis of Silence" at Lighthouse Hotel & Spa in Galle, a 5-star venue with a reputation for art exhibitions and cultural events. I was offered a great room with sea view, and the preparation went well the following day. However, I wanted to return by Friday evening to catch a performance of nATANDA Dance Company at Barefoot in Colombo, and the car was not available. So I dedided to take the train back .... more...
