About this blog

Project Americas (www.pamericas.com.br) - This is a road trip across the Americas. We will go by the Pan American Highway, from Ushuaia to Alaska, traveling the west coast of the Americas along the Pacific Ocean. Returning to the east coast, from New York to Sao Paulo on the Atlantic Ocean. Will be 60,000 km for nine months, visiting 15 countries in the region.

The project proposal is to broadcast the trip alive, every day, over the Internet. People who follow the project over the Internet will be able to trace the vehicle and interact with the Proponent (pilot) and his companion (co-pilot). This feature will depend on the deployment of services of telecommunications companies to provide service access to the Internet and mobile phones, and the availability of this services at the locations visited by us. The vehicle that will take us on our journey through the Americas will be a 1989 Toyota Bandeirante. We will show that it is possible to have fun by making use of new and old technologies.
