Much more than a few dots on the map! Away in the Andamans...

About one thousand kilometres to the east of the Indian mainland lie the pristine, if isolated, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Sun and sand are not all that are in plenty here. Lovely beaches, a wealth of flora and fauna, rich corals, an amazing underwater vistas...they are all here. But, it's the reputation as a feared penal settlement during the British rule that makes a trip to the islands an unforgettable insight into the historical developments of those troubled times. Far away from the struggling mainland, today the Andamans is where you can lose the present and find the past; as much as you can find some of the best beaches that ever took on a wave.
Clearly, the Andamans are much more than a few dots on the map...
