That was it, single and free on New Years Eve! I booked a last minute special in September,four nights in Prague coming back club class British Airways for £246.00 each!The hotel Elite was a gem in the middle of town. My friend was marvellous at finding little treasures, a blues night club, and the best value restaurants. We paid £80.00 for a jazz boat on New Years Eve, what a con! 14 miserable as Monday people but the fireworks on Charles Bridge made up for the sombre mood! And on New Years Day we saw a display again. A performance by the Csech philomarnic orchestra on New Years Day just added to the occasion of a New Year Special. You can feel the dark secrets of a traumatic past hidden in the pebblestones and gothic spires.
