About this blog

At 30 I decided to take a break from "the norm". Bored, with a job that was going nowhere, no partner, no ties, I decided to live life to the max and have stories to tell in the future and go and fulfill a dream.

Somewhat a new dream, well, I've travelled quite a bit over the years but not backpacking, but after a taste in Australia in 2008, I decided that it was my time to take some time out and go backpacking.

A complete novice to this new world, but nevertheless up for the challenge, I'd never hit the south american continent so here is where my journey begins...
