I took a Ryan Air flight from Spain to Marrakech which I booked for just 9 Euros...somehow the final price was more like 90 Euros by the time I paid to check a bag, paid the over kilo charges and took the bus to the airport an hour outside of Barcelona. And with the sighs of the passengers as we made a not too relaxing landing in wind swept Marrakech two hours later I was glad not to have removed the bottles of booze from the baggage...they were worth the extra charges. Not easy to find a good warm bar here in the Medina, though hot local Harira soup is ubiquitous and I am half tempted to get myself a jalaba and wear it around for the warmth it could provide. Who would think North Africa would suffer from cold rains this time of year...
