About this blog
After 12 years of working for the British Foreign Service with exciting assignments to Slovakia, Sri Lanka and Iraq (with official and private visits to more than 35 countries) I finally took a break. What else could a single mum with three kids (and two cats and a rabbit) do? But life does not get any duller. Now working for a private company who specialise in working in tough places - Grandma came to stay, and I went to Afghanistan.
