About this blog

We've quit our jobs, sold our house and both our cars. We've gotten rid of all our furniture and possessions that seemed to have accumulated over time and we have put our lovely moggies into foster care for a year (huge "thank you" Sylvia and Eddie!) and we're off to explore the world. We'd love it if you could join us through the adventures and keep us up to date with all the news and gossip of back home. We will try to update our blog as often as we can, so feel free to make comments.

It's a huge step into the unknown for us, but you only live once and the memories and experiences will be priceless. Besides, if we don't do it now we never will. And with that in mind we will sign off for now with a rather apt quotation from Mark Twain....
