About this blog

All of the planning (and lack of planning) is about to take shape...I'm trading in the corporate life for a backpack, a camera, and a one-way ticket to Ecuador to begin a trip around the world that is guaranteed to provide me with experiences unlike any I've ever had. My goal is to volunteer for 2 to 4 weeks on each of the 4 continents I visit and to leave each place knowing that I gave something in return for everything I gained...the friends, experiences and a better appreciation for the cultures I encounter. The itinerary includes South America, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe and Southern Africa.
